Rendering is the computational process that takes a prepared 3D scene and generates the actual image output, frame by frame.

Think of it like this: visualization decides what the viewer should understand, and rendering decides what gets drawn on the screen. Mistakes happen when people confuse them, because they may “get good pixels” but still fail to communicate the design intent. What To Watch Out For In Architectural Visualization
