The anniversary of Manon Design Studio in 2026 marks a significant milestone for our Bali-based practice as it enters the fifth year of architectural and interior design exploration. Rather than framing this moment as a conventional celebration, our studio positions the anniversary as a reflection of growth, collaboration, and evolving design thinking.

Through a two-part collaboration program developed with Bendega.id and Riot Indonesia – Bali, our design studio’s anniversary expands beyond the studio walls which is connecting design practice with environmental action and active community participation.

This year’s anniversary becomes a platform for us to reflect on how architecture and interior design can exist within broader cultural and ecological contexts.

Shall we begin?

A Journey of Growth Behind Anniversary Manon Design Studio

Since our studio establishment, the anniversary milestone reflects five years of continuous development shaped by real architectural and interior projects.

Each project contributes to our studio’s evolving identity as a studio design Bali, where design decisions are driven by context, proportion, and spatial experience. The journey is not defined by a fixed style, but by continuous refinement through practice.

Over the years leading to this, our studio has strengthened its approach to balancing functionality and aesthetics, while maintaining sensitivity toward human experience and environmental conditions. This perspective has shaped every stage leading up to reinforcing the belief that design must be experienced, not only observed.

Innovation Driving Manon Design Studio Evolution

Innovation also plays a central role in our journey. Over five years, our design studio has integrated new tools such as VR visualization and digital spatial exploration to enhance communication and design understanding throughout our client’s design process. These innovations support the evolution of our workflows leading into this year’s achievement, allowing ideas to be tested and experienced more intuitively.

Our design studio’s anniversary is more than a milestone, it is a quiet affirmation of our commitment to remain in tune with a rapidly evolving architectural and interior design, where ideas shift, materials transform, and new ways of experiencing space continue to emerge.

Collaboration at the Heart of Anniversary Manon Design Studio

Our anniversary celebration is built around collaboration as a core principle. This year, our studio partners with Bendega.id, a community focused on mangrove restoration in Bali, and Riot Indonesia, an active running community promoting lifestyle and movement.

Five years is a significant milestone for our independent design studio. This anniversary is not positioned as a conventional celebration, but as a meaningful marker of our five-year journey—one that is grounded in authenticity rather than celebration alone. Instead of simply hosting an event, we choose to honor this moment through real action together with the community.

Through these collaborations, the anniversary Manon Design Studio expands its meaning beyond design practice into environmental awareness and community engagement. The collaboration with Riot Indonesia and Bendega.id reflects our core values: Design that lives in harmony with nature, an active and conscious lifestyle, and a deep connection to local communities in Bali—including coastal fishermen who are part of Bendega’s wider ecosystem.

The inclusion of mangrove restoration activities and Bali running community event programming 2026 reflects how our anniversary connects creative practice with real-world impact. The act of planting mangroves becomes a symbol of hope—an echo of Manon itself, continuing to grow, evolve, and take root over the next five years and beyond.

This year’s anniversary is shaped as a two-part program that brings together design, community, and a connection with nature, almost like a shared story unfolding over two meaningful days.

Here Is How the Journey Flows

For our studio that has grown over five years, this moment brings Manon Design Studio, Bendega.id, Riot Indonesia – Bali, and friends into one shared experience.

  1. Morning gathering (23 April 2025 | Pantai Kelan Kangin, Bali)
  • A relaxed 3KM fun run with Riot Indonesia – Bali (starting at 06.00 WITA), more about enjoying the morning together than racing.
  • Cooling down and capturing moments as a group.
  • A slow walk along the coastline, shifting the mood from movement into reflection.

  • Planting 150 mangrove seedlings together.
  • Being joined by local coastal communities and fishermen who are part of the area’s everyday life.

  1. Internal celebration (25 April 2025 | Manon Design Studio Office)
  • A warm opening with reflections from the Principal and COO
  • A simple cake-cutting moment—nothing too formal, just sincere
  • BBQ time with the whole Manon team, talking, laughing, and winding down together into midday

Across these two days, we celebrate the anniversary of Manon Design Studio to make it feel more like a journey shared with people who have been part of our story in different ways. We aim our journey as a reminder that good design always begins with an awareness of the environment.

Running becomes a symbol of collective movement, showing that meaningful change often starts with small steps taken together. Meanwhile, mangrove planting represents an act of re-naturalization which is an effort to restore balance to coastal ecosystems that sustain marine life, protect shorelines, and support the natural cycles that keep our planet alive.

As a studio that embraces the value of Nature Inspired, we believe, nature is more than a source of design inspiration, but it is a responsibility that must be preserved. Through moving steps and growing roots, we celebrate the relationship between people, design, and nature, aligned with the philosophy of Tri Hita Karana.

For us, nature, especially the ocean, is an essential element in maintaining the balance of the Earth. One important lesson our team continues to learn is that restoring coastal ecosystems connected to the sea also contributes to the regeneration of larger natural systems that support life. Because we are truly aware that marine ecosystems play a vital role in the biological processes that help sustain our planet, including the production of 80% portion of the oxygen we breathe.

As our studio continues to move forward, this year’s anniversary Manon Design Studio quietly reaffirms what we have always believed in—contextual, thoughtful, and deeply human-centered design that grows into better spaces for more people, shaped through our lens of experience, care, and craft. .

If you are beginning a new journey or simply holding an idea in mind, we welcome you to step into a conversation with us. Let’s start with your first free consultation, and together, let’s explore how design and innovation can shape the world in ways that feel more meaningful, more connected, and more alive!
